Bosnia and Herzegovina holds three of the most rewarding outdoor experiences in the Balkans within a remarkably short distance of each other. The Combo Adventure brings all three together into a single four-day arrangement - a complete outdoor journey that moves from the wild white water of the Tara River Canyon, through the ancient silence of Perucica Primeval and the glacial shores of Trnovacko Lake, and finishes with a full descent of Hrcavka Canyon, one of the most technically demanding canyoning routes in the region. Each day builds naturally on the one before. The river opens your senses to the canyon. The mountain hike clears your head and shifts the energy entirely. The canyon then brings everything to a peak - physically demanding, technically challenging and set in some of the most untouched wilderness in Europe. By day four, when you emerge from Hrcavka near the ruins of the medieval Herceg Stjepan towers, the combination of everything you have experienced over three active days makes for one of the most complete outdoor adventures available anywhere in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Safety & Requirements for the Combo Adventure Tour

The Combo Adventure is designed for participants in good physical condition who are comfortable with three consecutive days of outdoor activity. Each day presents different physical demands - the rafting day is accessible to most fitness levels, the hiking day involves significant elevation and mountain terrain, and the canyoning day is the most technically demanding, with verticals, swimming sections and rope work throughout the descent. All equipment for both the rafting and canyoning days is provided and fitted on site. Rafting equipment includes a helmet, life jacket, neoprene suit, neoprene boots and paddle. Canyoning equipment includes a helmet, neoprene suit, alpine harness and special canyoning boots. Full safety briefings are conducted before both water activities by licensed and experienced guides. All Tara River rafting guides are licensed by the International Rafting Federation. Canyoning guides are experienced canyon leaders with full knowledge of the Hrcavka route. All jumps on both the rafting and canyoning days are optional and no participant is ever pressured to attempt any obstacle beyond their comfort level. Basic swimming ability is recommended for both the rafting and canyoning days. Sturdy hiking boots and layered clothing are strongly recommended for the Zelengora mountain day, as temperatures at altitude are significantly lower than the valley and weather can change quickly. Participants must provide height, weight and shoe size in advance for equipment fitting. Please inform your guide of any medical conditions or physical limitations before departure.

Three Adventures, One Unforgettable Journey

What makes the Combo Adventure more than a list of activities is the way the three days flow together. Rafting Tara River on day two introduces you to the canyon on the water - fast, social, exhilarating, with the scale of the gorge revealing itself gradually as you move downstream. The Zelengora hiking day on day three takes the pace in the opposite direction entirely - slow, elevated, panoramic, with two glacial lakes and a summit view that resets everything. Then comes Hrcavka Canyon on day four. By that point your body is warmed up, your confidence is high, and the canyon rewards both. Two days of rafting and mountain hiking have prepared you physically and mentally for a full canyoning descent with verticals, natural pools, waterslides and the particular kind of focus that comes with navigating a narrow gorge on alpine gear. This progression is deliberate - and it works.

Incredible place! The staff is so welcoming and professional. Located on Maglić mountain, it offers cozy pods and stunning views. Canyoning was a safe, thrilling adventure. Great food and cold beer at the end made it perfect. Highly recommend this mountain paradise for all!
